Project Manager Curriculum Design


Omaka Marae in partnership with Renwick School is establishing a kaupapa Māori innovative education centre at Omaka Marae called Te Pā Wānanga.

The vision of Te Pā Wānanga is to create an innovative, kaupapa Māori, learning village at Omaka Marae.

A seamless kaupapa Māori environment for primary and intermediate (year 1 – year 8) education.

Where succeeding as Māori and being Māori is not an extra curriculum activity but is at the centre and heart of everything we do.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a specialist to assist with the designing of a curriculum that incorporates the vision and values of Te Pā Wānanga and the aspirations of our whānau and kura.

This is a short term contract

The successful Applicant will have:

  • Past experience in curriculum design, in particular from a kaupapa Māori perspective
  • Be innovative
  • Solution focussed and self-managing
